And working my way through my newest read, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey. I also dropped by St. Clement's for confession with the awesome Fr. Manuel. He suggested that I get involved with some of their young adult prayer/spiritual direction groups - which sounds ideal. I'm excited to do so, and maybe to attend this fabulous retreat.
In the evening I headed to The Apartment alone to take pictures and write up a review for PartyEarth.
Total VIP status - I bypassed a loooong line at the door by name-dropping the manager and explaining that I was writing a review. Inside, I chatted up the managers and got offered free drinks. I snapped pictures and fended off the random males eager to question my activities (and my plans for the remainder of the evening). I also bumped into an acquaintance from Spirit&Truth - good to chat with someone I know for a while.
Just another day of feeling like a rockstar.
