My Maggie!

Dear World,

My beloved Maggie is here. With me. In Toledo, right now. We have explored all my favorite sights in this most beautiful city, from La Catedral (I finally paid to go in!) to the view from the walls. We enjoyed an exquisite lunch at La Flor de La Esquina (the Flower on the Corner, an adorable little restaurant with cottage decor) and were almost forcibly ejected from the cathedral for taking forbidden photos. Whoops.

We also bought some nasty, over-priced marzapan from an adorable nun (how can you say no to that habit?). We drew the line when she tried to sell us a bag of leftover host wafers, which Maggie dubbed ¨Jesus crackers¨, to snack on as we walked. Thanks, but no thanks.

Tonight we´re leaving for a whirlwind day-and-a-half in Sevilla. Southern Spain, here we come.
