True Life

I feel like my blog is getting a little repetitive. A little, dare I say it, mundane. And so, since you can really only write (or read) so much about historic buildings, I'd like to offer you...

The Top 5 Drinks of Spain

Honorable Mention: Chocolate con churros... Doesn't actually contain alcohol, but it's so sinfully delicious it deserves a spot.

5. Domus - The regional beer of Toledo, it's a little too dark and wheaty for most girls. I'm not most girls.

4. Vino tinto & sangria - Whether it's at Taberna de Livingston, Sevilla flamenco shows, or out of a box at a botellon, there's a reason these are the most popular drinks in Spain

3. Chocolate milkshake + Bailey's - At Cafe Picaro in Toledo, this delight combines two of my favorite things

2. Flaming Shots - Works of art engineered by bartender Jorge at Camelot, one of our favorite clubs

1. Cuba Libre - At Bar Cuba in Cadiz. The name says it all.
