This weekend one of my favorite bloggers, Emily Whalen (inthelandoftheirish.blogspot.com) visited me. It was epic. We explored Toledo and Madrid, enjoying tapas and towers, churches and churros. There´s something special about seeing my beloved Toledo through fresh eyes that enabled me to re-appreciate the wonder of living here.
It was also amazing to see Emily for the first time since last May, as she has been studying at Trinity College, Dublin all year. Her bright smile and passion for literature were as great as I remembered... Exploration of any foreign city is officially improved by Betsy-Tacy and Jane Austen references.
